Photographer Profile: Larry Lynch
After having retired a several years ago, I settled in to pursuing a former interest in photography which I never seemed to have enough time for. Over the years of self study, taking courses, and trying to keep up with the changes of an ever growing and expanding industry, I find myself putting in more time into this labor of love than I ever did while working in a regular job. For me now it is more of a necessary part of life rather than a hobby. It is more than just a craft or acquiring technical expertise in that it is an expression of communication offered to others through my images. Also living in upstate NY ( near Rochester, NY which has a history and culture in photography). is a big plus in the resources and expertise available. Last, but not least, is that this part of the country offers many opportunities and subjects to photograph on a year round basis.
